My story

For years and years I kept saying I was going to eat less sweets as I have the biggest sweet tooth! In 2018 I decided to make my own peanut butter cups as they would have less sugar and carbohydrates than the store bought ones. 

In late 2018 I was unable to deploy with the unit I was assigned to, but made some of the peanut butter cups for my battle buddies who were deploying. They enjoyed them so ended up making them a second batch before they deployed. 

That gave me the idea of starting a chocolate business when I transitioned from Active Duty to Army Reserve in 2019. From late 2019 to 2022, Just Cause Chocolates was sold at markets and festivals around the Tampa Bay area. 

On October 15, 2022, Just Cause Chocolates had our grand opening for our small store in Pinellas Park.
